種類
3.5mmの光学的有効径を有する従来の光ファイバーケーブルは、一本あたりΦ50umのグラスファイバーが約4000本束ねられています。
光入射部分の面積：1.75 mm×1.75 mm×3.14 = 9.62 mm
ファイバーの面積：0.025 mm×0.025mm×3.14×4000 = 7.85 mm
従来の光ファイバーケーブル入射口は約80％（7.85 : 9.62=0.82）がファイバーで隙間には有機接着剤が充填されています。HTT-Blue-Line®の場合、光学ファイバーを特別な手順で溶かしてプレス加工することでファイバー断面は六角形を形成します。これにより、隙間がなくなりファイバーの領域は100％になります。つまり、透過率が増加します。この特別な工程により有機接着剤が不要になるためハイパフォーマンスライトケーブルは高い耐熱性を備え、従来の光ファイバーケーブルの故障の原因となる光入射部分の「焼け」を防止します。溶かしてプレスされるため3.5mm光ファイバーケーブルの光学的有効径は3.2mmくらいに縮小します。

- HTTP-Blue-Line®高性能光ファイバケーブルのファイバは、接着剤で固定するのではなく、高圧と熱を利用した特別なシステムで固定します。
